Alyssa Serratore is a Research Nurse Coordinator in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)at the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, where she coordinates and supports clinical research. Since July 2023, she has been undertaking a PhD focused on understanding and incorporating consumer voices in PICU research, including identifying clinician and family priorities for future studies. Her professional interests include PICU research, inclusive consumer involvement and strengthening collaboration between clinicians and families. As Deputy Chair of the ANZICS Paediatric Study Group Consumer Engagement Working Group, she fosters collaboration between families and researchers and mentors clinicians in consumer involvement.
