Dr Claire Michel is an Intensive Care Specialist (FCICM) and clinician-researcher based in Melbourne, Australia, with appointments at Bayside Health (Peninsula University Hospital) and Epworth Richmond. Her research interests include ‘Goals of Care’ in the critically ill and the pathobiology of vasodilatory shock, with an emphasis on pragmatic trial design. Her research portfolio spans observational studies, consensus methodology and interventional trial design, informed by previous experience as a basic sciences and translational researcher.
