Will I receive feedback if my application is unsuccessful?

Feedback is not provided for applications that are unsuccessful at the Expression of Interest (EOI) stage.

Applicants who are invited to submit a full application and are subsequently unsuccessful following peer review may request feedback from the assessment process. This reflects the more detailed review undertaken at the full application stage.

Are there grants that are awarded to individuals?

Yes. The Foundation offers Educator Development Scholarships (smaller grants) that are awarded directly to individuals.

If awarded a grant, who receives the funds – the applicant or their institution?

All research and education grants must be administered by an institution (eg university, hospital or research organisation). The funding agreement is signed by an authorised representative of the institution, not the individual applicant.
