Respiratory Support Grant

For research into new or existing intensive care therapies that directly support the respiratory system. Eligible projects may involve medical devices (such as ventilators or oxygen delivery systems), drugs that influence respiratory mechanics or adjunct therapies.

Maximum Grant: AUD$50,000

Clinical research will be prioritised, relevant animal or bench work may also be eligible. Projects focussed on the pathophysiology and treatment of underlying respiratory conditions are likely to be out of scope.

How to Apply

Both grants will be awarded through the standard ICF annual research grant process.
Applicants must:

  • Identify interest in these grants at the EOI stage
  • Justify eligibility within the standard EOI and full application word limits
  • Refer to the specific ICF Industry Supported Grant (ISG) guidelines when preparing their application
  • Eligibility decisions rest with the ICF and are final.

These grants form part of the ICF’s broader grants program, which is assessed and awarded through the existing scientific review process, ensuring independence and transparency.
