ANZICS/ACCCN Intensive Care ASM
In April, the Foundation was proud to attend the ANZICS/ACCCN Intensive Care Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM) in Christchurch, New Zealand. This important event brought together clinicians, researchers, and health professionals from around the world to share insights, explore emerging technologies, and the latest advancements in medical technology.
A highlight of the conference was the inaugural meeting of our reinvigorated Corporate Co-operative, a partnership between CICM, ANZICS, ACCCN, and our valued corporate supporters Bellavista, Fisher & Paykel, Vantive, and Hamilton.
This gathering provided an opportunity to thank our corporate partners for their continued support and share updates on our fundraising efforts, grant programs, and research outcomes that are improving the lives of ICU patients and families.
We were especially honoured to welcome Professors Colin MacArthur and David Pilcher, who delivered a research update and compared ICU outcomes in Australia and New Zealand to global benchmarks.
The purpose of this gathering was to acknowledge and thank our corporate partners who have contributed to our Foundation and to report what is happening with fundraising, granting, research and patient outcomes.
This Corporate Co-operative event will now be held annually at the ANZICS conference, strengthening ties and reinforcing our shared commitment to advancing intensive care.
