  • To improve the care, treatment and survival rates of intensive care patients
  • To improve the ongoing quality of life of intensive care survivors
  • To increase the success rate of Intensive Care Foundation funded pilot studies translating into major, government-funded research projects
  • To provide a sustainable revenue source to grow the capacity to fund more research
  • To prioritise early career investigators
  • To ensure all donors, supporters, recipients and friends of the Foundation are treated with respect transparency and accountability
  • To maintain stakeholders’ confidence and ensure an ongoing positive relationship with our three founding partners: The Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS); The College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM); and Australian College of Critical Care Nurses (ACCCN)
