We are delighted to welcome Vicky Chen as Treasurer and David Zerman as Board Member for Fundraising and Philanthropy. Their expertise and passion will bring immense value to the Intensive Care Foundation as we continue to support vital research and education in intensive care.
With over 16 years of experience in financial accounting and a Master of Commerce (Advanced) in Professional Accounting, Vicky Chen is a proud member of CPA Australia. She has served as Head of Finance for more than13 years, excelling in financial reporting, cash flow management, and statutory compliance, while also overseeing HR and ICT functions. A proven leader and strategic thinker, Vicky is passionate about driving operational efficiency and fostering continuous improvement. Her dedication to stakeholder management and impactful financial decision-making has been pivotal in supporting sustainable growth in dynamic environments.
David Zerman is a dedicated advocate for the not-for-profit sector, with a career spanning over three decades. Since 1990, he has led fundraising and philanthropic campaigns that have raised and distributed more than $225million, working alongside talented staff and volunteers. With academic qualifications in Public Health, International and Comparative Law, Public Policy, and Media Studies, as well as Executive Education from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, David brings unparalleled expertise to his role. However, his greatest joy lies in using this knowledge to ensure people receive the healthcare they need, making a tangible difference in their lives.
