Bianca Crichton (Tainui, Ngāti Awa) is employed by the Medical Research Institute of New Zealand (MRINZ) as a Māori Health Researcher. She is a novice investigator with a background in public health and a strong interest in Kaupapa Māori research.
She is an outcome assessor for the international STEPCARE cardiac arrest study and is the Principal Investigator of the CRISP (Cold tempeRatures In patients with SePsis) inception cohort study in Wellington Intensive Care Unit. She is currently studying her Master of Indigenous Studies at Victoria University of Wellington and is on a journey to learn Te Reo Māori.
