Quyen’s career as a clinical pharmacist has spanned over 25 years with 18-years’ service in the paediatric intensive care unit. She is currently undertaking a PhD candidature looking at improving drug therapy for children with sepsis and life-threatening infections.

Antimicrobials, pharmacokinetics, paediatric intensive care, and model-informed precision dosing are at the centre of Quyen’s research interests. With the aim toward precision medicine, she seeks to bring more translational results which directly benefit paediatric critical care medicine.
